The chemagic DNA Blood200 Kit is intended for DNA extraction on the chemagic 360-D instrument from 200 µl human whole blood samples collected in EDTA or citrate blood tubes for downstream analysis by PCR based in vitro diagnostic systems. The extraction protocol processes 96 samples in parallel in approximately 75 minutes.
Extraction performance with the chemagic 360-D was comparable to the chemagic MSM I (see previous extraction performance on 41 blood samples), obtaining similar yields and purity. Here, five blood samples were extracted in five runs with five replicates per run.
