chemagic™ M-PVA Magnetic Beads functionalized with streptavidin are commonly used for the isolation of biotinylated target molecules, such as oligos, mRNA and proteins. Incorporating the outstanding properties of M-PVA Magnetic Beads, the streptavidin modified ones show a higher biotin binding capacity compared to competitors and are produced with stringent quality controls, ensuring good lot-to-lot conformity. chemagic M-PVA SAV Magnetic Beads can be used in diverse downstream applications including nucleic acid enrichment or depletion for NGS, immunoprecipitation, protein purification, enrichment of sample/cells/organelles, and more.

Streptavidin Magnetic Beads

M-PVA Magnetic Beads functionalized with streptavidin are commonly used for the isolation and handling of nucleic acids and biotinylated ligands and targets, including antigens and antibodies. Immobilized Streptavidin on the surface of the beads empower binding and immobilization of biotinylated target molecules, such as oligos, ssDNAs, proteins.

The binding capacity of biotinylated targets in water is generally 500 pmol/mg bead. Higher binding efficiency (800 pmol/mg bead) is achieved in the presence of our coupling buffer.

Specifications M-PVA SAV Magnetic Beads


Our M-PVA SAV Magnetic Beads are available in two different size ranges. SAV1 indicates that > 90.0 % of all particles are in the range of 0.60 – 1.25 µm. Whereas > 90.0 % of all SAV2 particles are in the range of 0.80 – 3.0 µm.

Magnetite Content

The high magnetite content of 50 – 60 % (total dry weight) ensures rapid magnetic separation in complex environments even with high volume.


The standard concentration is 25 mg/ml, which can be customized upon the requirements of your workflow.
