DNA and RNA from saliva
Saliva has become an important source of nucleic acid material for human genetic testing. It is non-invasive, which makes it a preferred choice for individuals who dislike needles. The Revvity chemagen solutions provide high yield and purity genomic DNA and total RNA from a minimal amount of sample. We observe high molecular weight gDNA and high integrity total RNA and they work with several downstream applications including sequencing (Next-Generation, Whole Genome, Whole Exome, Sanger, and long-read), quantitative PCR, and more.
